A can of Dalai Sofia kombucha is not your average kombucha, and that’s because it’s made by a certified sommelier and longtime bartender with a deep understanding of flavor. Our founder Zach Smith spent two decades behind the bar, crafting cocktails and turning customers on to amazing wines. He loved the communal aspect of the job, but what he didn’t love was the toxic aspects of overconsuming alcohol. With Dalai Sofia, he can still spread good cheer along with good health and good vibes. He loves when his bold flavors put a smile on your face.

We care about sustainability in everything we do: from protecting the environment, to supporting local communities, to taking care of our bodies. We’ve spent years creating deep relationships with our farming community in order to support their efforts while sourcing the best ingredients possible. We switched to cans since glass recycling is not available in our community and aluminum is the most recyclable material in the world. Did you know that nearly 75 percent of all aluminum produced in the United States is still in use today? Cool, right?
