At Dalai Sofia, we consider the role of sustainability throughout our process. One of the reasons we fell in love with the Lowcountry was its unique ability to provide nearly all of the ingredients needed to make high quality kombucha. We source all of our tea, honey, and produce from the Charleston area, and therefore are deeply connected to the farmers and growers who make our product possible.
Our team is very passionate about making fermented foods more available, and helping people understand the power of diet and gut health as part of a sustainable lifestyle.
Using our existing and growing skills, we strive to make some of the best kombucha and jun that one can buy.
"The G-Spot" is tart, a little spicy, and one might say rather brash like it's name! It's infusion of local grapefruit and galangal (a rhizome like ginger), are energizing, great for circulation, and leave us feeling a little bit tingly.
Raw Kombucha (Filtered Water, Black Tea, Green Tea, Organic Cane Sugar, Kombucha Culture), Grapefruit Zest, Grapefruit Juice, Galangal, Pink Peppercorn, Coriander
"Fat Beets" is a blend of local beets, turmeric, ginger, thyme, and lemon. This is our ultimate detoxifier, helping bodies rid themselves of toxins and excess hormones, and maintaining balanced gut flora.
Raw Kombucha (Filtered Water, Black Tea, Green Tea, Organic Cane Sugar, Kombucha Culture), Beets, Turmeric, Ginger, Thyme, & Lemon Zest.
Our "Bee Well Tonic" is a slightly different ferment. Called Jun, this brew starts with local green tea and raw local honey. After fermentation and flavoring, we're left with a light, slightly floral tea with honey notes not unlike a dry mead. This green tea-honey-jasmine tonic is as instantly refreshing as it is replenishing.
